Ultra-Trail Snowbasin by UTMB puts summer athletes into one of North America’s most prestigious venues for Winter Games alpine terrain. Snowbasin Resort has successfully hosted World Cup and Olympic downhill races and will return as a venue for the 2034 Olympic Winter Games.
Winter’s legendary snow melts to reveal a world-class trail system that ascends, descends and traverses this rugged piece of the Wasatch Range. Portions of the terrain welcome the trails through lush alpine forests, in other areas, terrain and trail seem to exist in a tenuous truce with one another.
The high mountain trails eventually descend to rivers and roads, and those wind down to the quaint communities of Ogden Valley, down Ogden Canyon to historic Ogden.
