Course Description
The 2026 Snowbasin by UTMB 58km race shows off the best of Snowbasin Resort, host of the upcoming 2034 Olympic Games. Boasting a tough but runnable 5,800 ft of elevation gain over the route, runners will move through sagebrush, stands of aspen and fir trees while drinking in amazing views of Ogden City and the Great Salt Lake. Come let this beautiful course challenge you while Ogden and Snowbasin Resort show off their hospitality and charm.

Mandatory Gear

Should the race management team add onto the mandatory gear due to weather conditions, please reference the cold and hot weather kits outlined in the Race Regulations Guide. You will be notified via email if either kit is required during race week. Runners are expected to pack both kits for race weekend in the event one of these kits needs to be implemented.

- Protective eyewear ***
- 2nd warm layer in addition to jacket recommendation
- Sturdy, closed-toe trail-running shoes (minimalist or ultralight shoes Not recommended)
- Beanie (or multifunctional neck gaiter)
- Warm gloves (waterproof strongly recommended)
- Waterproof overpants
